Hi,
I was wondering if you can iron freezer paper on fabric and then run it through the printer. I am just curious, I know you can buy fabric for the printer but can you make your own.
Thanks
Kathy

I've done this with my ink jet printer....I can't remember now what I was doing. Probably a label. Humm...now I've got to figure it out.

I made some labels by ironing muslin onto the freezer paper, then running them through the printer. They turned out very nice.
As I was ironing them to set the ink, extra water got on them and all the pretty printing started to dissolve and run. So I think you have to pre-treat the muslin with something to keep the ink from running (BubbleJet???). I now just use the treated fabric you buy in packages of 3-5 and run it through the printer. Nothing runs when you get it wet.

Oh I never thought of that, it would run. I do have a packet of paper that I got at the fabric store and I thought I could make my own. Hmmmmmmmm That is something to consider.
THanks
Kathy

You can make your own printable fabric using the Bubble Jet - here is a link

I also just print on fabric if I know the item will not be washed (like postcards) using freezer paper for the backing, works well for me
