string block

Post by luckyscraper » Wed Jan 23, 2008 1:39 pm

I have a question for those who have made string blocks. Once you have the block made and all squared up, do you go around the outside edge and sew again or do you just leave it alone and just sew your blocks together?

I press them then just sew them together. If they are kind of floppy you could use some spray starch.

I do what Oasis does. I don't bother basting the edges, it all goes together good. Amie :o)

I just sew them together. Sewing around the edge would be an uneeded
seam and I want as few extras as posssible......
