I've never read any of the quilting novels. Are they mysteries? Is there a central character that's in more than one book? Is this a series that should be read in the proper sequence?
Sorry about all the questions.

ccquilter,
I have read Alice's Tulips and really liked it. I love all of Sandra Dallas' books but my favorite is "Diary of Mattie Spenser." Haven't read The Quilt that Walked to Golden.

I enjoy the Emilie Richards books also. Her Shenandoah series is fantastic. You can read them in any order, but it is more fun to read them in the correct sequence because there are some very slight references to the previous books.

I'm reading the Wedding Ring by Emilie Richards. It's the first quilt novel I've read and I'm really enjoying it. Is that part of her Shenandoah series? If so, I hope it's book #1.

Linda - Mattie Spenser's Diary is my favorite of the Sandra Dallas books, too! Have you read anything by Nancy Turner?
