Ditto Kadie. I prefer to be able to get out & walk if I choose. LOL

Re: Buying stash fabric?
I usually acquire stash when there are sales. My budget is limited (translated parochial school teacher and single mom of 2 teens) so I buy fat quarters here and there, check out the sale rack at LQS. I splurged when QIAD had their $3 sale, and got free shipping. Every now and then, I do use Jo-Anns, for smaller craft projects.

Kadie - you DO have a problem with motion sickness. I bet you really don't do well on a ferris wheel or a tilt-a-whirl!!! I prefer to fly and I love being out on our boat. It's driving over tall bridges that churns my stomach - the bridge disaster in MN yesterday is a perfect example. I hope all our quilters are OK. Is anyone from there? Well, DUH!!! We have several from that area. Are y'all OK??

I used to love tilt a whirls - when I was a kid. Now I can do up and down and even upside down but don't put me on anything that goes round and round. I can't even watch something going round and round!

Kadie you poor thing! Have you ever tried Essential Oil in Ginger scent? If you just sniff this oil a couple of times, it makes nausea go away. When you're ready to throw up it is hard to sniff Ginger but it really does work. I keep it on hand at all times. I took a Correspondence Course on Essential Oils & learned this. Just wondered if Gingerbread or Gingersnap cookies would settle an upset tummy?

Somone told me to give Schatzi a ginger snap cookie before we travel and it would keep her from getting car sick. That's the only thing I haven't tried. I'd better put them on my grocery list. I really hate to have them around because I love to have ginger snaps with cheese on them. YUM. But I'm trying to lose weight so they are off limits. I just hate to have the temptation here.

Yep. I've tried the ginger. I have found 1 tablet that helps me called Kwells. It is the only one that gives any relief.
