Jacquie, your blocks are awesome! Can't believe you're doing your triangle blocks already! What an optimist you are! I love it! Are you doing your other blocks in order or whatever strikes your fancy at the time.

XS & QLTS - welcome! always so nice to have new blood amongst us! What a great idea for your guild to do! Looking forward to more posts and photos from you!

While on my RV travels, I started my DJ blocks. At the end of two months I have 51 blocks finished. 8 of them need some reworking. The last one I did was called "Cabin Fever" and boy did I have a hard time getting that one! I thought it was an omen I needed to go home to my real sewing room!

thanks, :)

on the forum thread, with whom i am sewing along with, the 'host' has made a sewing order for us all to follow. she has made a list of 3 blocks a week, with some break weeks here and there, so we can have a rest OR catch up! lol...

the 3 a week blocks have a mixture of easy, medium and hard blocks. also scattered here and there are triangles as well. but we are starting at the top of the quilt and working our way down the quilt top. at the moment we are working on the 'A' row and the 'B' row as well.

if you want a copy of the schedule, feel free to 'pm' me.

I now have 62 little squares done. This is the one thing that I am getting done here in South Carolina. Once I get home things just get so busy during the day. Am loving me new portable sewing table.

I am loving the applique on Jane's blocks, but some of the others are really mind blowing. She has left behind beautiful, challenging blocks. I wonder what she would be thinking of that now.

I am doing them in order. Was afraid if I started to skip around I would never go back to do those hard ones. LOL

well back to work on E9.

Shelly, I am using civil war fabrics. Pretty much like Jane used.
I am not great on posting pictures, but I will try in the next few days.

I love your fabrics. They are just beautiful as is your blocks. Are you still doing 3 a week?

Thanks for the encouragement!!:)

Thank you Shelly. You are so encouraging! But I have to be honest and tell you that I am in South Carolina at my daughters and this is what I brought with me to work on. So I am not home in my own sewing room. The master bedroom here is a sewing room during the day and at night I convert it back to the bedroom that it was meant to be. LOl
