I've been working on my Chocolate and Raspberry quilt, and I've made significant progress finally. This past weekend I finished sewing the blocks together, and now I've got 4 of the 9 rows sewn together. Still haven't decided on a border yet. I'm leaning toward a narrow (3/4") inner border of the chain fabric since that's all I have left, and then perhaps use the left over new fabric pieced togeter in rectangles for the outer border. Time will tell.

Amazing, isn't it, how an "ugly" fabric works up to a beautiful quilt?

Looks great!

It's so pretty, knitnoid! I love those colors together (and the flavors too-chocolate & raspberry-yum (LOL)).

I didn't think the fabric was ugly either -- I just needed a project to showcase it. Ironically, the friend who gave me the fabric thinks the blocks are wonderful and is making noise about needing a quilt...

If I'm not careful, she may find that truly ugly yellow and green paisley and give it to me. But I don't think it can be cut small enough to make it not ugly.
