Debbie,
I could definately get a scrappy quilt top done by Dec. 31st. It's the 'quilting' part that will slow me down.

Looking forward to seeing pics of what everyone can do.

This is a wonderful idea and challenge. I would love to do this. I really like scrappy quilts and it will be great fun seeing everyone quilts at the end. Everyone be sure to post pictures when they finish.

Redtop the site you are talking about is going to be our guilds next quilt camp project. One of her 'authorized' teachers lives here in AZ and she's coming up to do quilt camp for us using the ruler! I'm looking forward to it in the spring.

Amie check your pm, fabric on its way. [as soon as I walk out to the mailbox thatis] LOL

This challenge sounds soo doable! I just found out we have electricity!!! YEAH. Its only been off for about 24 hours, but still. Anyway, I have mostly FQ's and scraps. I think the Simple Scrappy Treasures will be my goal.

I won't be able to start this until after the new year though. To many Christmas presents and such to do.

Wanted to post again cause I got my rulers I needed the other day, to do the Cathedral Stars after the holidays, yeah! How's everyone doing on this? Have you all decided on a pattern yet? Sounds like a fun project to me!

Happy Holidays!

I am with you 100%. Scrap quilts are my very favorites, and I make more of them than anything else. When I started quilting, back in the dark ages, that's about the onoly kind anyone made unless they were quite wealthy. I saved all the tiny scraps of my sewing and that's what I had for quilts, well that and feed sacks. Now there are so many beautiful patterns that lend themselves to scraps. Let' do it!
