I have officially decided my fabric does not just sit!

It sends our ''quiltpharhmones'' that increases my creative juices to be inspired to work, work, work, and quilt, quilt, quilt.......... that is as long as the lids are off the tubs of fabric and the closet door is ajar ever so slightly so they can leak out into the room! LOL

I wash my fabric like colors together. But use a pinking sizzors on the raw edges before washing. That will stop the raveling.

Ollie I wait until I am ready to use the fabric, then I wash it. Maybe. Some fo the 30's reproductions I do not wash except for the reds. I like the wrinkled or crinkled way it looks after I quilt it then wash it. IF I do wash my reg fabrics, I do it like DarleneElaine said she does hers.

I can remember all the fabric I have. I can't remember where I left my car keys but I can remember the red with a bit of cream dots and hint of green fabric, where I bought it, what I thought when I bought it, how much I bought and it's here somewhere. I know I have it. LOL.

i don't wash mine when I get it sometimes I just don't wash it at all

sewbug you sound like me I can remember it well I just sometimes have to spend the whole day trying to find it and when I do finally emerge victorious I will have either found enough other things to think i will start a new quilt or i will have forgotten why i was looking for it in the first place
