Welcome Yvonne and Lorilei,
Wow! We are getting some real international quilters here! I am very excited about that. I hope both of you will visit the forum often and tell us more about yourselves. How wonderful for us to chat with quilters in other countries!

Thank you for joining us.

Linda

Thank you for all your welcomes, I have printed of the patterns as suggested for my indigo quilt top
Have also just printed a label using Microsoft Publisher for the border really pleased with it, but thought I had better colourfast it before sewing on my quilt, so soaked it in vinegar & water
Just hope it works
Thanks again

Yvonne from New Zealand, I bet a Courthouse Steps would be gorgeous in blues and taupes--! I have made 2 Courthouse Steps and they have a very elegant look to them.

Wiggybutt. . .

I was just looking through some of the older comments and saw yours. Did you decide on colors? I am interested in makeing this pattern also and am having a little difficulty picking out coordinating colors. I like the redish one just on the inside page of her book. It takes less colors, especially for my first one. Please post a picture when you finish, we would all like to see it.
Have Fun,

I'm sure these won't be everyone's favorite colors, but when I took the class from Sue I took bright colors along knowing I needed to make a baby quilt. The quilt was for a new baby boy born to a very Republican friend of mine. The girl who quilted it for me also put in some trupuntoed elephants.

I love the pattern, but think I prefer it in more subdued colors. LOL
