So far, the log cabin by Eleanor Burns is my easiest. Just love QIAD. I have lots of books that say they are easy but NOT. Jo Ann

I'm doing a YBR quilt now. It is more time consuming than it looks. I like cutting but why don't they write it so that you can cut a pile, set it aside, cut another pile, set it aside, etc? The just sit one time to sew? It's cut, sew, press...cut, sew, press...cut, sew, press. Whew!
AND my 1/4 inch was off so my blocks are going to be 9" square instead of 9.5" square. Maybe I'll just add an extra border to make up for it.

I found the Rail Fence & 4"squares~~~~just 4"sq's to be the easiest quilts I have ever done. When I taught quilting I often started beginers with Rail Fence. I miss teaching..

Even though I am a beginner quilter, I did the Candy Cane Lane pattern and it turned out great!! I really loved it and it was really beautiful.

Turning Twenty goes pretty quickly and easy to put together.

LOG CABIN is the easy for me. But I'm not a good quilter.

I'm going to have to say "Take Five" because it goes so quickly. It also looks really beautiful with coordinated colors and is a great way to use up odds and ends. I have a big stack of violet & purple fat quarters just sitting in a drawer and I'm going to make a take-5 with them.

What is the "Take Five" pattern. Which book is that in?

I vote for the QIAD Flying Geese quilt. Eleanor's templates make this pattern "goof proof". It took me longer than a day but I was very happy with the end result. The quilt didn't have that "plain" look that so many of those easy patterns have.

The nine-patch is probably the easy one for me. But, I like the results of the log cabin the best. The choices of the different designs is great. I get more compliments on the log cabins than the others. That is always nice.
