Re: Have you seen the Turnovers?
I do like the charm squares to make tote bags with because they are all of the same fabric line. I'd buy the charm packs before I'd ask the cutter at the LQS to cut 1/4 yd. of 12 - 15 different fabrics. they might ask me not to come back - LOL.

I think just some other way to sell less fabric for more money. Lori

I do buy charm packs and jelly rolls because I can get all the fabric line in one. I don't want 40 charms or strips all the same color/design that I would get by buying a yard of fabric.

Cindyg, I had to smile when I read your post. DH recently gifted me with a trip to the LQS - 1/2 yard of 21 of the fabrics in the Moda Cranberry Wishes line, all at full price. Believe me, that LQS has no problem with me coming back! LOL
The clerk at the store drew me out a diagram for taking a fat quarter and cutting it into the various 'pack' sizes - I'll try to post it here (still learning on that front.) I used this diagram to cut each half yard into 2 fat quarters, and then one of each fat quarter into the various pack sizes.

Cute. I just soon have larger pieces. When you get the charm packages, turnovers, and jelly rolls a problem may occur. What do I make out of them? LOL

Not for me.
I'm sure the fabric makers enjoy making more money from the various offerings they come up with. There is a niche market for all their ideas no doubt.
The half-yard selection of 21 fabrics sures sounds tempting, but I could afford it unless it was half-price, I'm sure!!! Love the way you broke down the half yards, Roben.
