I was at Joann's the other day, and a very nice lady told me there is a great quilt shop in Stover. Will definitely have to check that one out.
Looking forward to exploring quilt shops in southern Missouri too.
Louisburg, KS has a great Cider Mill too. The doughnuts are divine!

Well, Linda, you have to go to Parkville and see the wonderful fabrics there at "Peddler's Wagon". They have lots of samples on the walls so you can see how the finished product will look, as well as pattern books, lots and lots of beautiful bright fabrics, quilting stencils, etc. I love to go there, but remember they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. I've taken classes there on various things, like baby bonnets and smocking, quilting etc.
One thing I can't get over is that their fabrics are so bright in color, unlike anywhere else, AND they have hand dyed fabrics that are to die for.
Joanne
