Looking for a really old Judy Martin pattern
Could anyone help me? I am trying to locate a quilt pattern called Trees of Autumn, by Judy Martin. It appeared in the Fall/Winter 1984 issue of Quiltmaker magazine. I have contacted Judy and she no longer has the pattern .
It is an upright tree with autumn colored squares and half square triangles posing as leaves on the two branches that split off a wider trunk. It is not set on point. HELP!!!!

I would ask her which of her books the pattern is in.. then go to Amazon.com and type in the title of the book.. you can get a used book for a few bucks...
it's the way I purchase books often...
good luck,
Chriss

I did ask Judy, but it only appeared in Quiltmaker, nowhere else. Wish that issue was still available, but it isn't. Hopefully someone out there has a copy and could email me the pages... Quiltmaker Fall/Winter 1984 issue.

http://judymartin.com/quilt-sale-10.cf ... le-10.cfm I found a picture of the quilt on this page. Maybe you could draft the pattern on graph paper. Lori

Vicky on this forum was doing a tree pattern... let me have her come look at this link...not sure if it's the same tree...
otherwise, if no one has the pattern... Lori has a great idea to try and sketch it on paper..

Thank you everyone!! Isn't that a neat tree though? My son is going to try to graph it for me!

I recently contacted Quiltmaker magazine about a quilt in an older magazine and they were very helpful. You might try that. I think I just typed in www.quiltmaker.com
