Thanks for information but I another question I'm doing a quilt in plaids and the material revels lot can anyone give me any ideas? I have tried Alene's stop fraying but I don't like it it dries stiff but my husband did a steach and it's came up with spray starch I'm going to give it a try to see

I have never tried it but have been told that if you cut the edges with pinking sheers it helps with the raveling.... I have seen rotory cutter blades that work like pinking sheers....

if you try it let us know if it works...

Elise26, when I am using fabric that ravels I use a very thin iron on interfacing before I cut. I do this even with silks and it works great for me. I couldn't believe it when I saw you are in Biddeford! If you go to Tony's and ask for the one for silk they should have it. Hope you find it works for you too.
