I am a hand quilter and I kike Warm & Natural WITH SCRIM. I find it holds up to the tugging and positioning on your hoop.

I need recommendations for a batting that is super warm. We live where the winters are long and cold.

Warm and Natural is a good all purpose batting,,,,Wool is by far the warmest but also shrinks and is a little more pricey. I use warm and natural for my machine quilted quilts I like the antique look when it is washed also/

My long arm quilting machine is a Husqvarna Viking mega quilter. I have found that warm and natural 100% cotton batting works well, the polyester really messes with my stitches. I can not get the tension adjusted to look right at all. Warm and Natural is expensive; does anyone have any suggestions on another 200% cotton batting that isn't so expensive.

I bought the Pellon Natures's Touch 100% cotton batting yesterday at Joann's. I've never used it before but it was such a good deal I thought it was worth trying. I'm hoping it works well but it will be a while before I need to use it.
