Well, since I'm traveling for the winter in our 27' fifth-wheel, I'm a bit constrained in my usual quilting activities. But I did manage to cut strips for sashing for my autograph quilt. One day I hope we settle long enough so I can start sewing them on. Maybe today???

I also am working on a pretty involved cross-stitch Christmas stocking while we roll down the road.

And I am actively planning my last brother's quilt. He's another trucker, but I'm getting trucks down pretty good now! lol! I have lots of brothers to practice on. I have fabrics, patterns, sketches, and photos.

In my 'spare' time, I'm also embroidering vintage Santas in redwork with a vision of a future quilt in my mind.

That's all I've got going on for now. It's enough.

I'm working on 2 different things (sorta).

The first one is the comfort quilt, from Victory Quilts. I'm been working on it on and off. It's a quilt I pull out when I have nothing else to do.

Here's a random picture of it:

And there is one that is still in the beginning stages. I have a photo project in my history class and my professor is letting us do whatever we want, so I am putting the pictures into a quilt. My topic is the war effort on the homefront during WW2, so I will use a quilt block from victory quilts again.

I have 4 quilts waiting to be finished! Oh my gosh...how did I do that? lol
One is for my mom (I've made her wait years for a quilt). The binding goes on tonight or tomorrow. My daughter (6 1/2yr) asked for a pinwheel quilt...the top is probably 2/3's done. I have a quilt top I made about 3 years ago sitting here staring at me everyday, asking to be quilted. And when I get tired of the project I'm currently working on, I set it (them) aside and start sewing scraps together. So now I have a scrap quilt sitting here draped over the rocking chair calling out my name!
Christmas is coming...I just bought apron patterns. And I'd really like to make some stockings for gifts this year.
So I have a lot going on right now. Keeps me busy and happy. (when I'm not shuttling my 2 little girls to and from school...helping with homework...housework...catching their colds..etc.)

I am still trying to finish quilting the two Cars Victory Lane quilts that I made my grandsons. I love planning, cutting, and sewing the quilt tops, but it seems like when I get to machine quilting them it takes me forever. I have my next quilt patterns and material bought for them though. I will get them done soon, but i have a "disease' when i get in a quilt store around all the fabric. i just have to buy some. Oh well I could have a worse problem I guess. happy new Year to all!!

I'm working on a lap-sized outreach quilt. My guild gave me the fabric and I'm making framed nine-patches in pink and green and maroon. I hope it turns out as I'm winging this one with the fabric I was given.

Nothing lately but I'm itching to get in my sewing room. First on my agenda WAS the Judy Neimeyer quilt; however, I signed up for the state blocks swap so I guess I'll be starting on that tonight or tomorrow night and get those finished before I pick back up with the JN quilt. I'm never going to get going on that thing.

Now that my Cat quilt is finished; I am working on the Spring Morn Applique' quilt. It is coming along fine. I will be applique-ing on our RV trip this Spring. I want to visit some Quilt shops and I know I'll find fabric that needs a new home! Ha.
