Hello Ladies,
Can I use fat quarters to make the geese part of my quilt? What color background would you suggest I should use with different shades of pinks and purples? Your suggestions will be greatly helpful? Thanks

Re: Flying Geese
What size geese are you making? And are you using Eleanor's rulers? If so you can use fat quarters... you will be using 2 different sized squares! I LOVE her method and never use any other... you get perfect geese every time with the rulers...

Re: Flying Geese
Teddybear - I'd use white. If you are doing finished 6" flying geese you cut your first squares 7-1/2" and 9". A fat quarter is cut at 18" so it might be iffy to get that 9" block. I am using fat quarters for the 7-1/2" block and yardage to cut my 9" blocks. I'm making flying geese to use as a border on a Christmas panel.
