I prewashed Warm and Natural once. It was a hassle and I haven't done it since. I'm happy with the results of my non-prewashed W&N quilts. I have to admit I've not finished my prewashed quilt yet.

Warm and Natural is all cotton and is very warm, sometimes too warm for some people to sleep under. I prefer Hobbs 80/20. It's 20% polyester and 80% cotton. The poly helps stabilize the quilt, and it still feels like all cotton. Hobbs is, by far, the most popular quilt batting out there.

The Warm & Natural is great, Hobbs 80/20 is a good batting too. It costs less than the W&N but is still very good. Quilters Dream is a wonderful batting, a bit pricey like the W&N but so nice! I like the poly batting in some quilts cause I like the thicker feel of it. I think everyone has personal likes & dislikes so figure out what you like & go for it!
