Underground Railroad/Jacob's Ladder
If you are making an entire quilt in this pattern is there a specific direction to place the squares?

Hi and Welcome to the forum - I think you could place the ladders anyway that you would want to - I googled Jacob Ladder Quilt images and it shows how others have set theirs - click on the link and it will take you to what I'm talking about

Thanks for the welcome and the information. I never thought to look on Google. Where is "Oz" located? I'm guessing Kansas. I'm in Oregon right now, but live in Arizona. Come from Michigan orignally. Thanks again.

Re: Underground Railroad/Jacob's Ladder
HI.. funny I ran across this topic of Jacobs Ladder blocks.. I make quilts for Quilts of Valor..and I made some Jacobs ladder blocks, using red, and a flag fabric. BUT..I made the center 4 patch go the wrong way, on every single block.. GRRRRR is what I said. Ok, I think I said some other bad words, too. I put the blocks away, but I think I am going to get them out again, and put them together, and call the quilt Jacob fell off the ladder..
