It seems I don't have enough fabric to do these swaps. And I don't have any ideas for what to do with the swap fabrics. I am especially interested in what you can do with the noodle fabrics. Jan

There are all sorts of patterns which call for 2 1/2" strips. Lots of books and patterns on the market.
A while back I did a red white & blue noodle swap. I used the noodles I got, plus some red, white & blue FQs to make this rail fence quilt. The center medalion was an orphan block.

That center sure changes the rail fence into something special. The corners help too.

Knitnoid, wow, that sure worked up pretty!
Haven't done a noodle quilt yet, but not having to cut strips...what a relief! Bet those rail fence squares went together lickety-split!
Not many of us here seem to have done the Courthouse Steps quilt...it's a sort of cousin to the Log Cabin...but that would be a great one to do out of a noodle roll, IMO.

I'll be trying out the "Noodle" program when I get my Christmas Swap Noodles back. But I think you are right CarolJ, not having to cut all those strips could hasten along the process.
Very nice Red/white/blue patriotic quilt. I also like the center having a focus point.
