Thanks Sewbug. I have Elmers and will definately look for the Clover.
I like points too and have found pins distort the fabric.

I use either light weight non-woven fusible or Heat n' Bond.

I use Wonder Under. I used to use heat & bond but it gunked up my needle!

i guess i must be odd as i have never used anything to stick down an applique piece. i just pin with a pin or two then either sew on machine or do needle turn.
