I usually fold the paper a couple of tims and gently tear. It seems to come off ok. But I'm sure there are other tips for getting it off. I think that stitch length is ok.

I trace my stitching with the point of my stylus, to break the little bridges of paper between the stitches, and off the paper comes.

I have been doing a great deal of PP and your stitch length is ok. I also crease along the stitch line and then tear the paper off. For the little pieces that stick I have found when I gently steam them to block them square the steam loosens it and it comes out easily I use the long tweezers from my serger to GENTLY remove it. Carol Doak (the PP Queen) says if a little is left it will dissolve over time so don't stress about it.

I have used a washcloth that is damp and lay it on the pp then in aobut 30 minutes the paper just rolls up and away.
