Looking for Marine fabric

Post by quiltingangel » Thu Feb 07, 2008 8:14 am

Hi Everyone.
My grandson just went into the Marines and I would like to make a wall hanging or something for his parents and for us, too. I have looked on ling and cannot find anything. I would very much appreciate any ideas and any help with locating some fabric.
Thanks, quiltingangel

Here are alot of patriotic fabrics, with a Marine Pillow panel that you would be able to use for the center of your quilt :)

The Eagle in Star Spangled Favorites goes together real fast and easy. I made it for my center block in the first round robin I was in. The book is on sale now. It would make a great center for a quilt.

You could put his name and rank on it in big block letters.

The Walmart in Weatherford TX has a fabric with a dark background and circles (with I think an eagle in the middle) that say United States Marine Corp around the edge of each circle...

I was at Hancocks at little bit ago and they had several different designs with Marine logos - You could check out their website and see if they carry it on there :)
