I find it so difficult to keep up with my scraps. So I have to cut my 3"Tumbler blocks during or after a project. It takes less than five minuts to cut a few and I keep them in a basket close at hand. I cut as many as I can out of each color. It will not be a one of each fabric quilt. I would never use up my scraps if I did that....
