IowaGal, yes that is what I was asking. Yesss! some on understood my rambling on and knew what I ment.. when u quilt each block individually with the backing included then u sew them all together there will be a raw seam showing everywhere I sewed them together. how do u fix that? And yes I was asking if u could quilt with a regular foot.only cause thats the only kind i have lol!I only know how to stitch in the ditch any way.
I guess I didnt explain myself very well as to what I was asking/ but thank u everyone for all the sugestions and help.. Its got me quite far on my quilt, I looked up the website that someone left for me and that helped me alot.
Thank you Iowagal and everyone that responded. I appreciate it much!

There's a method where you making binding strips. I think two inches wide would be good, press wrong sides together. Place raw edges to raw edge on the back side of the quilted block and stitch 1/4" seam allowance. At the same time, you have another binding strip on top of the block with the raw edges lined up and it will get stitched at the same time. Then you flip the blocks together with right sides together and stitch 1/4" seam allowance on the binding on the top side of the other block only. This will be the folded edge lined up with the raw edge of the other block. Then you flip both blocks right side down. The top two will be connected by the binding strip and only one side of the back will have a binding strip on it. Take the strip on the back and pull it over to where it is at least 1/4" past the raw edge of the second block. Then you stitch it together by hand.

This is probably as clear as mud. I will try to find the instructions on the internet and post them.

Boy, this makes me ashamed! Jenny, I haven't gotten pictures of my quilting on my home machine to you!

Check out the photo I posted in the photo section - it's a friendship star and bars - it's my Round Robin Medallion...

I'm going to find time - if I can - to get some pictures of how you can quilt on your home machine..... but I do have to work O/T again :( it doesn't make me happy!
