calico....checked out that website. WOW, how great is that. Plan to print up each block pattern. What a great site. Thank you so much.
Question....how do you get the website you typed here on the forum to come out so that we can just click on it and get to the site? Everytime I type in a website it just comes out in plain print and you have to copy and paste.

To insert the clickable website info..Where you "add a comment" at the bottom of the page, click on "Insert Link Code" and when the small window at the top of the page comes up, say ok to temporarily do what it asks...then click on "Insert Link Code" again and another window will come up at the upper left corner of the screen...add your link to this space and then where you want it in this box. The copy and paste into the information area.
Yes, I should make a whole quilt of these, but I would go crazy doing it...too tedious for me..I said it took me one whole afternoon to do one block...with fine thread and a very small machine needle because the needle and thread take up so much space on those tiny peaks...you can see mine still did not come out all that good....too much dedication needed for one project! I am alot older than you gals and I would still be trying to see well enough to do them in the nursing home...and I hear they don't have great lighting!

Yeaaaaa..did it. Thanks much calico. Learn something new every day.
I hear you on not wanting to spend so much time on those blocks. They have some pretty tiny points. I may go with the one in my McCalls magazine. But I really want to do something a little different for me. I tend to go with fairly simple designs, and concentrate on the fabric.
