Maybe we should have a funeral - I definitely have some fabric that should be buried!

Here are some small items I have made with the sun painted fabrics. I have a small quilt planned with leaf images that is still in the planning stages while I get enough of the fabric images painted and ready. The three trivets I made for myself, as I gave some for gifts to DILs for Christmas gifts last year.

Here are two websites with the information about sun painting. You can get the paints at Michael's Craft stores and you can order off of these websites also. If you want to know more after reading these sites, let me know and I can give you more information. It is lots of fun.

Calicopuzzle, your fabric is very pretty. I checked out the web sites you mentioned and the process doesn't sound very difficult. I will have to put it on my list of things to do.

Calico Puzzle: Your quilts are just so cute. Excuse my ignorance, but, do you just place the item, like a leaf on the fabric and cover the rest of the fabric and let it stay in the sun?

Is there a web site I could go to to find out how to do this. I could do this in between naps. HA

Helen

Smelling smoke from some fire through my window. Not good.

Will check on the sites you listed also.

Pilot2b check out the Dharma Trading Co. website that I posted down a few entries. The fabric gets painted first, the items for imprinting layed on next, and then it is places in the sun to develop...almost like a reverse negative.
