Also done in a sew along

Post by gramajojo » Thu Sep 23, 2010 3:41 am

My DGD wanted a "dalmation quilt" when she was younger so I amassed black and white fabric but couldn't decide on a pattern. Then I found a panel with dogs on it and threw that in with the mix. When the stars across america sew along came up, I had the book on the table and she said to me "grama I like this quilt are you going to make it?" So, here is what I came up with. It will be her christmas present, if I ever get it quilted.

Jo, this is too cute!! How clever to use this fabric in the sew along!! Great job and I'm sure she will love it.

Somehow I missed this one! It is fantastic! Love the fussy cut dogs - and I imagine your DGD is absolutely thrilled with her quilt!

It's amazing how different the quilts can be when the same pattern is used.
