Quick trip quilt for Grand daughter...

Phoebe my Grand daughter who is 3.5yrs old, recently asked me for a rainbow quilt. Ever since she was old enough to enjoy books she has been fascinated with rainbows!
So, I put my thinking cap on and thought 'Yes', this may work nicely!!
I have to say it was 'sew' much fun gathering the Batik fabrics together, and the simplicity of El's pattern made it a JOY to make!!

I've just finished it, and she hasn't seen it yet!!! I will take it round to her tomorrow...

Jacquie--it's wonderful!!! I need to get that book again. I really like your curvy quilting along the seams--hope to try it soon now that I have a machine that will do it. Beautiful!!! Know Phoebe was thrilled!!!
