Thank you El. If it hadn't been for Log Cain in a day, I might not be a quilter (well, that and your tv show, watched for a few years before I decided I could do this!) El is the reason I quilt. I suspect that is true for many of us. I started with the wee strips (1 1/2" I think, and decided to go back the the 'regular' size! I didn't do the light/dark sides because I just wanted scrappy! Queen size and hand-quilted

Not doing the dark and light sides makes it a really different quilt! So pretty, Sally. I like the combination of smaller and larger blocks, too! Even though it was your first quilt, I can tell you were creative even then!
